Contained within this Armoured Clash Battlegroup Set is a Lakota Heavy Rail behemoth for your Union force. Unlike any war machine of the other Great Powers, the Lakota and its carriages present a strategic conundrum for their enemies: should they attack the engine to cripple mobility or target the carriages to reduce its offensive capabilities? Each carriage has a unique function, such as the Newhaven Forward Garrison for infantry transport or the Houston Firebase with indirect fire rockets. In smaller forces, a general can even deploy a Lakota Super Heavy Engine on its own—an unthinkable concept for other factions.
To support this battlefield powerhouse, the box also contains a supply of infantry. Federal Troopers and their Fireteams can hold ground or be transported inside the Lakota for protection as they close with the enemy. Hotchkiss Revolving Cannons are perfect for dealing with smaller threats, freeing up the Lakota’s attacks for more significant targets. A player may also choose to transport Pacifier Heavy Infantry in Lamplighter Flame Trucks, offering yet another tempting target for enemy fire. Meanwhile, Ironhorse Cavalry remain poised to strike at a moment’s notice as events unfold on the battlefield.
